A downloadable character builder

Part of my Honours project in my final year at Abertay University.
This project explores the intersectionality between style, diversity and personal preference within a context of 3D character creators.

This project utilizes blend shapes within unreal engine to create a spectrum of choice for the player. It aims to cater to a diverse audience and their preference whilst maintaining a stylized aesthetic.

Ultimately it is a grand display of all my skills as a practitioner.
For the project's fruition, I have carried out extensive research and drafted concepts. I explored how I can create blendshapes within Maya and how they can be implemented in Unreal to create a slider system.
I wanted to display my flexibility within the character pipeline by modelling, texturing, rigging, animating and implementing an array of assets within an interactive system.

This project is in active development from September 2024 till May 2025
